About

I'm Josh Lyons — a truth-driven storyteller who believes acting is more than performance; it's my ministry.

I discovered my passion for acting during the pandemic, and since then, I've been dedicated to bringing truth to the stage and screen. Through theatre, film, and mentorship, I've found purpose in storytelling — not just to entertain, but to heal and uplift.

I've performed in works ranging from August Wilson's Fences and Two Trains Running to Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part 1 with the Southern Shakespeare Company. My journey has taken me through stories of faith, struggle, and triumph — and each role reminds me that art can be both mirror and ministry.

Whether I'm onstage as Hotspur, Lust, or Sterling, or mentoring young artists, my goal is always the same: to serve the story with honesty, soul, and purpose. Acting, for me, is not just storytelling — it's where spirit and craft meet.

Acting is not just storytelling — it's my ministry.
